What this Furniture Store Saw at Spring Market
Spring market was as crowded as ever. Following pandemic years where fewer people came out, participation went up dramatically. On the other hand, prices are down – YAY! Inventory shortages forced prices up during the pandemic but now warehouses are full and lots of specials are available from the vendors.
A great price was found on this solid wood bedroom set featuring light-gray tufted headboard. The queen 5-piece set was $2895 . . . Now just $2195. Note the beautiful detail on the chest, dresser, and nightstand.
These gorgeous traditional sets are priced at just $2695 for both sofa and love seat. We haven’t seen prices like these in years!
Hello White . . . and Light
Displays were full of white and beige – some whole displays showing no color at all. Whether we’re talking traditional, modern or glam, white is in. We particularly liked this white sofa with curved arms and back. The wood finish is pearlized and lots of beautiful nail heads are featured.
How about real, elaborate traditional in white – no more dark woods here. Note the beautiful carved backs on these occasional chairs.
Gold or Silver? . . . . How about both.
There was much more gold featured in trim and accessory items but silver is still hanging around. In fact, the newest options are a combination of both. Note the combination of gold pillows and silver nail heads on the sofa above. Largely we saw gold accenting lighter colors. Check out this beautiful velvet sectional wrapped with a gold base.
